NHP Co-Principal Investigator
A Ph.D. degree and postdoctoral research experience in neuroscience, neurology or related fields from leading domestic or international institutions. Candidate should have laboratory experience in NHP chronic electrophysiology studies, strong analytical skills and a desire to learn and to develop advanced BCIs that will be used in fundamental NHP studies and support the goal translation to human patients. The candidate is expected to help lead NHP studies at i-BRAIN with the opportunity to also carryout independent research, mentor other lab researchers and support lab management. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated independent research capabilities and extensive experimental experience, as well as a proven track record of high-quality publications as the first or corresponding author. Proficiency in English for communication, good teamwork skills, academic integrity, and a passion to transform research for humanity are important characteristics.
