Yikai Zheng received his bachelor’s degree from Jinan University in 2025 and now he is a Ph.D. candidate in a joint program by Westlake University and the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation, where he focuses on brain–computer interface (BCI) research. With a cross-disciplinary background in pharmacy and neuroscience, he integrates technical expertise with a deep understanding of neural mechanisms to advance BCI technology. His work centers on the development of brain–computer interfaces and their applications in neuroscience, with a particular interest in creating innovative solutions that bridge neural activity with external devices. These efforts hold potential for medical rehabilitation and human augmentation, especially in treating neurodegenerative diseases.
