Xize (Jed) Lan is a PhD student at Tsinghua University. He previously received both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College London. Jed’s research lies at the intersection of materials science and neuroscience, with a particular interest in developing functional materials and bioelectronic systems to interact with, guide, and ultimately support the regeneration of neuronal networks. By leveraging his background in advanced materials and electronic devices, his work aims to bridge the gap between materials engineering and neural science, contributing to the development of next-generation technologies for neural repair and brain–computer interfacing.
