Dr. Jung Min Lee is the Co-Principal Investigator of the i-Brain group and an Associate Research Professor at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School. He specializes in nano-bioelectronics, brain–machine interfaces, and advanced neural interfacing technologies. He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Hanyang University, South Korea. His professional experience includes postdoctoral research at Seoul National University, Korea University, and Harvard University, where he worked extensively on developing novel nanoelectronic devices for in-vivo sensing, stimulation, and diagnostic applications.
Dr. Lee has authored numerous high-impact publications in Nature Communications, Advanced Science, Nano Letters, and Science, with research contributions ranging from minimally invasive neural probes to multifunctional optoelectronic meshes for deep-brain modulation. His work bridges materials science, bioelectronics, and neuroscience, advancing next-generation tools for probing and modulating neural activity.
